Barry M Dolly Pink 146 Swatch & Review

 This Lip Paint by Barry M called Dolly Pink (146) first caught my eye as it reminded me of Mac's Pink Nouveau. It's a mid tone bright pink with lilac undertones and a semi matte finish. It goes on pretty opaque but you do need to make sure your lips are in good condition as it can emphasize any dry patches. I get about 4-5 hours wear out of Barry M lipsticks.

I'd say this was a cross between Pink Nouveau and Naughty Saute. It's bright but not uber bright. Barry M Lip Paints are some of the best value lipsticks out there and it just proves you don't need to spend much to get a decent lipstick!

Barry M Lipstick 52 Shocking Pink- THE Mac Candy Yum Yum Dupe

This uber bright pink lipstick is 52 Shocking Pink by Barry M and is widely touted as a dupe of Mac's Candy Yum Yum. It's a cool neon pink, and because it has white pigments in it, it really stands out from your face to give maximum impact. I would say that this is slightly different texture wise. It feels a little drier to me and can cling to any imperfections on the lips so exfoliation prior to application is a must.

I really love this lipstick and considering the price point (£4.50) it's an amazing buy, especially when you consider what prices Candy Yum Yum goes for on eBay.

Barry M Sunset Lipstick Review and Swatches

This is a vibrant, opaque, coral-red shade with a nice sheen. Would suit a lot of skintones as it doesn't pull too orange or too red. I actually bought this lipstick a while ago and didn't expect much from it, but on closer inspection I discovered it was a really stunning shade and a great formula to boot! I get a good 4-5 hour wear out of it and my lips don't feel particularly parched once it's worn off!
