Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara Review

So I've been holding off reviewing this for a while as I wanted to give it a chance to work as I think there are a lot of so called eyelash growth enhancers on the market and very few of them have any effect, and the ones that really do can change your eye colour so this has always put me off.  I've used it for a good month now on my top lashes (I find it smudges slightly on my lower lashes) and I've been pleased with the progress so far. I can't say I've experienced much in terms of extra length but I have found there are less lashes falling out overall so they are looking a bit fuller. I do have long lashes naturally so I might not be the ideal audience for this product but it is still an improvement on what I have.

Mascara wise I find this pretty nice- volumising but not OTT although it does layer nicely and has a good depth of black pigment. At first I found it a bit too wet and it made my curl fall out (this happens to me a lot so I tend to let mascaras dry out slightly before I use it). It has a biggish wand- a bit like Diorshow so builds up quickly but you also need to be careful in the corners. Overall I went from not really liking this to really enjoying it so definitely will be repurchasing it.

Revlon Colorburst Sizzle Lipgloss Swatch & Review (Escapism Collection)

Revlon Colorburst Lip Gloss in 046 Sizzle is a bright red-tangerine color with a glossy finish and no shimmer. It's been released with the Escapism Collection so I'm not sure if it is being made permanent. It's quite pigmented but it is a sheer formulation so your lips might change the colour slightly. This really reminds me of a gloss version of Chanel's Holiday Nail Polish and I think it will be perfect for the summer.

The texture of this is quite balmy so isn't sticky or tacky at all and it doesn't dry out my lips. I get approximately 3 hours wear out of this before it starts to fade away. It comes in the standard clear plastic tube with a longish doe foot wand, it also has a strange sweet scent- I can't quite put my finger on it but it smells a little artificial but luckily it doesn't linger for too long.

Revlon Red Bikini (Escapism Collection) Swatch & Review

Revlon Nail Enamel in Red Bikini is from the Escapism Collection by Gucci Westman for summer 2012. It's a vibrant orange toned red creme with a glossy finish. It is pretty opaque in one coat but I used two for good measure. This sort of reminded me of Chanel's Coromandel nail polish which I reviewed earlier, just without the subtle shimmer.

It dried a bit quicker than your standard polish which was a bit of a bonus and I found it lasted 2-3 days before I noticed any tip wear. A word of warning though, make sure you use a base coat with any sort of bright red as they can stain your nails for several days after removal. As far as I know this is a limited edition shade, so if you like it check it out sooner rather than later!

Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss 006 Strawberry Swatch & Review

Part of Revlon's Colorburst range is this gorgeous lipgloss called 006 Strawberry. It's a bright warm toned redish pink with lots of small silver and pink glitter. This is one of those colours that flatters a lot of skintones, it's bright but not garish. It has a shiny finish and opaque coverage in 1 swipe, the glitter particles aren't gritty but I can just about feel them if I press my lips together. I get about 4 hours wear out of this one- it might make it through a cup of tea but wouldn't hold out through a meal.

Like all the Colorburst range this has a quilted lid which I think is quite cute. It's slightly scented but I can't put my finger what it is, vanilla maybe? The doe foot wand is easy enough to use even if it is a bit long.

Revlon Coral Reef Lipgloss (170) Swatches and Review

This is "Coral Reef" lipgloss (170) from Revlon's Super Lustrous range. It's a bright creamy coral with no shimmer and has a glossy finish. I find it comfortable to wear and doesn't dry out my lips, it's semi opaque in coverage so you get a nice dose of peach coral. It lasts about 3 hours on me before fading away- it's slightly tacky so you might want to try before you buy if that bothers you. One other thing I like about this gloss is that it contains a SPF 15 so is perfect for summer!

Revlon Pink Pop Lipgloss (180) Swatches & Review

This is Revlon's Pink Pop (180) Lipgloss, it's a bright Barbie pink with a super glossy finish.  I use this when I'm in a rush and I want a fuss free pink lipgloss with no effort required. It lasts about 2 or so hours before it starts to fade away. I don't find it particularly hydrating but I can't say it's drying either. Payoff is also pretty good and I get semi opaque coverage with a teeny bit of natural lip colour peeking through.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Review and Swatches

So Revlon's Colorburst  Lip Butters have finally made it over to Europe! I picked up 4 so far, 045 Cotton Candy, 080 Strawberry Shortcake, 090 Sweet Tart and 010 Raspberry Pie. These are much more pigmented than your usual lip balm and are great for on the go touch ups. Raspberry pie is the most opaque coverage out of the 4, it's a deep berry pink that has to be applied in front of a mirror. Cotton Candy is a pale lilac pink with plenty of shimmer, Strawberry Shortcake is a medium-light warm pink, Sweet Tart is a bright warm pink and my favourite of the bunch!

Bottom line is that I rather love these and will be getting more ASAP!
