Dior 3 Couleurs Smoky 481 Smoky Khaki Review & Swatches

These came out last year and are part of Dior's permanent line up.  This particular trio of eyeshadows, 481 Smoky Khaki is made up of a pale gold (smooth and pigmented), a mid tone satin brown (slightly dry texture but still good payoff) and a dark grey brown with golden sparkles ( good payoff but with a grittier texture due to the glitter). I don't have any fall out issues with this palette, especially if you use a base such as a paint pot or primer. It's a really nice item with some very beautiful shades so very worthwhile having.

Tom Ford Blush Nude Lip Color Lipstick Review and Swatches

Blush Nude Lip Color Lipstick is a pale peachy nude. It has pretty opaque coverage and a creamy texture. This looks great paired with smokey eyes, it's pale but doesn't give you that drained and deathly look that some nude lipsticks can give. I get a good 4 hours wear out of this one.

 As you can see this is in the old style packaging rather than the newer brown and gold (but I do think the formula remains the same. I think I slightly prefer this version as it doesn't seem to chip so much around the edges.

Models Own Pink Sorbet Nail Polish Swatch & Review

It's no secret I love nail polish, the brighter the better in my opinion. I tend to buy all brands from luxury lines to drugstore brands. One of my favorite brands is Models Own, they make good quality polishes, well priced and with a huge range of colours.

This one in particular is Pink Sorbet, it's a neon pink with lots of pearl. Here I'm wearing 2 coats which is fine but you could go for 3 to make it perfect. As with most neons it dries pretty quick and to a almost matte finish so you'll need a topcoat to make it super shiny.

Wear time really depends on the individual. I'm very heavy handed and have never found a polish that doesn't chip within 2-3 days. This wears on me similar to everything else like Chanel, OPI etc....

Guerlain Rouge G Gigi 68 Review and Swatches

Guerlain Rouge G in Gigi 68 is a bright pink red with opaque coverage and a lovely hydrating formula. It looks deceptive in it's tube, like a muted dark berry red, but once swatched it looks much, much brighter. If you're a bit daunted by the thought of wearing a bold or neon shade, this is quite a good stepping stone - bright but still wearable.

I do love Rouge G's, they are with out doubt one of my favourite formulas, however they are expensive (mostly due to the packaging). It comes in a very heavy metal case, complete with a flip top mirror. It does hold fingerprints but looks pretty on a table top.

Nars Cyprus Eyeshadow - Review and Swatches

This is such a beautiful shade by Nars, I feel bad for passing it by for so long before discovering it. Cyprus is a golden taupe with plenty of shimmer (but no glitter), as with most Nars eyeshadows it's buttery soft and very easy to blend. A perfect shade for pairing with other colours or just by itself to look polished but not too "made up".

Guerlain Rouge Automatique 143 Nahema Review and Swatch

I'm quite surprised that I haven't heard much hype about this lipstick, it's a stunning shade of Rouge Automatique by Guerlain. Named Nahema, number 143, it is a coral-red with beautiful golden shimmer. Bright enough to look great on darker skintones but sheer enough to work on people with pale skin. I get about 4 hours of wear out of this one and I don't find it particularly drying either.

The packaging is also rather clever, you can pull down the little switch on the front so making application easy enough to do with one hand. It's also cheaper than the Rouge G line, although this doesn't feel as hefty (on account of it being more plasticy rather than metal).

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Flirt 69 Lipstick Review & Swatch

This is one of Chanel's latest Rouge Coco Shine that came out with it's Spring Harmonies Collection and has been made a permanent addition to the Rouge Coco Shine range. It's a bright coral-pink with a balmy texture, like most Coco Shines it is on the sheer side but then again this is how Chanel describes the formula to be. I also find them more hydrating than most lipsticks and I get 2 or 3 hours wear out of them.

This is a rather gorgeous colour and is no doubt going to be a hit, I think it might even be my favourite out of the whole collection.
