Bobbi Brown Atomic Orange Review, Swatches and Dupes

I was lucky enough to buy this Bobbi Brown lipstick before it started to hit high prices on ebay. It's a super pigmented shade of bold neon orange. It's absolutely gorgeous and can also be worn smudged in with your finger for a less extreme look. I think this came out with the Neons and Nudes collection and has been a total sell out!

Mac Naughty Saute Lipstick Review and Dupe

I picked this up from the Mac shop cook collection. It's a cremesheen in a pretty blue toned pink. It's a much deeper, more wearable version of Saint Germain. It does have quite a lot of slip in it so probably won't be as long lasting as some of the other colours like Quick Sizzle and Watch Me Simmer.

Compared with Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte 8 Fetish Pink. As you can see they're very similar and also in texture and lightness, although not an exact match.

Mac Force of Love Lipglass Review, Dupes and Swatches

At first I wasn't that interested in this lipgloss. I have a million pinky glosses lurking in my drawers and kit so the last thing I need is another! However, after swatching this I couldn't help but buy myself one of these (plus one as a back up)!

Mac describes it as a vivid honeysuckle pink, which I would say is a pretty accurate description! Coverage is pretty good for a gloss, although it's not full on opaque.

8 of the Best - Neon Pink Lipsticks

This was a tough post to write. I mean narrowing it down to 8? I could have gone easily to 20!

From left: YSL Sparkling fuchsia, Chanel Super, Mac Viva Glam Nicki, Kiko Rosa Fluo, Bobbi Brown Neon Pink

Bobbi Brown Neon Pink Lip Colour
This is a medium bright pink. Not quite as neon as some of the other lipsticks, but is a much more wearable version. Gives great coverage in one swipe

Barry M 52 Shocking Pink
This is the well known dupe of Mac's Candy Yum Yum. A very bright neon magenta pink. Again excellent colour payoff!

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar "Divine"
A medium-light warm toned corally neon pink. Very unusual colour. You need the tiniest amount of this stuff for great coverage. It also has a soft minty smell.

Chanel Rouge Allure 167 Super
Probably my favourite Chanel lipstick of all time. This is a bright glossy warm pink, but is still neutral enough to suit all skintones. Very pretty and doesn't feel too done! I like the way it doesn't dry out my lips too.

Mac Viva Glam Nicki
A very bright neon yellow pink. Very opaque. Very Barbie like! It's advisable to pop a bit of lip balm on before you use this one! Lovely nonetheless!

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur 49 Tropical Pink
This is a medium-light neon blue pink. It's got good coverage with a pretty satin finish.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Perle 114 Sparkling Fuchsia
The name says it all really! A bright fuchsia packed with lots of fine shimmer! It also has the sweet mango scent of the Rouge Voluptes!

Kiko Luscious Cream Lipstick 517 Rosa Fluo
This is a light lilacy neon pink colour. Nice and creamy. Excellent value for money!

Mac Force of Love Lipstick Swatch, Review and Dupes

Along with a lot of other beauty fanatics I purchased the Force of Love lipstick. It's a bright warm toned matte pink, super pretty and flattering on a variety of skin tones. I think Mac are really pushing the boat out with a lot of their bright lipsticks recently, I just wish they wouldn't make them in such limited quantities. Is it worth having? If you like bright pink and would notice the subtle nuances between the rest of your bright pinks, then yes absolutely.

On to swatches and comparisons!

I think the closest in tone would be Chanel Rouge Allure in Genial but it does have a different finish and isn't as opaque. If you own any of the left hand Mac colours you could get away with using these layered with a slightly more pink/coral lipstick for a similar effect.
