Mac Force of Love Lipglass Review, Dupes and Swatches

At first I wasn't that interested in this lipgloss. I have a million pinky glosses lurking in my drawers and kit so the last thing I need is another! However, after swatching this I couldn't help but buy myself one of these (plus one as a back up)!

Mac describes it as a vivid honeysuckle pink, which I would say is a pretty accurate description! Coverage is pretty good for a gloss, although it's not full on opaque.

Mac Force of Love Lipstick Swatch, Review and Dupes

Along with a lot of other beauty fanatics I purchased the Force of Love lipstick. It's a bright warm toned matte pink, super pretty and flattering on a variety of skin tones. I think Mac are really pushing the boat out with a lot of their bright lipsticks recently, I just wish they wouldn't make them in such limited quantities. Is it worth having? If you like bright pink and would notice the subtle nuances between the rest of your bright pinks, then yes absolutely.

On to swatches and comparisons!

From Left:

Dior Addict 554 IT pink, Mac Party Parrot, Mac Impassioned, Mac Fusion Pink, Mac Force of Love, Chanel Rouge Coco 39 Paradis, Chanel Rouge Allure 65 Insolente, Mac Hollywood Nights, Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss Indulge, Lancome French Touch 314

More Comparisons!

From Left:

Mac Party Parrot, Mac Impassioned, Mac Fusion Pink, Mac Force of Love, Chanel Rouge Allure 187 Genial, Mac Toxic Tale, Jemma Kidd Hi Shine Glosstick 04 Hibiscus, Mac Watch Me Simmer

I think the closest in tone would be Chanel Rouge Allure in Genial but it does have a different finish and isn't as opaque. If you own any of the left hand Mac colours you could get away with using these layered with a slightly more pink/coral lipstick for a similar effect.
