Mac Powersurge Eye Kohl is a beautiful mid-tone golden brown and is part of the permanent range. It's an incredibly versatile shade and can work as a base under eyeshadow or as an eye liner. It's a great alternative to the usual black which can look very stark in comparison- this gives definition without looking too heavy or "done". Powersurge has a soft metallic finish and is soft to apply so doesn't drag or pull at the skin but tradeoff is that it's lasting power is slightly diminished, if I wear this on the waterline I expect to touch it up 1-2 times a day. It's pretty pigmented so you get coverage in 1 or 2 swipes.
